With project meetings in Amsterdam at the end of last week and the return flight not until the evening it allowed us to take in the Amsterdam Light Festival.
Unfortunately the Illuminade route had finished, but the Water Colors route by canal boat is still running and very much worth a look if you are in the area before the 22nd January.
From Aether & Hemera's Flower Strip and Peter Koros' Bunch of Tulips to Blueprint by Reier Pos, the tour takes in a whole range of light art installations that are in and along the waterways of Amsterdam - very inspiring!
